Fri, first time to butter factory. Hardly club but well its my "'sugar mum" birthday.

Got shocked - 12 plus am and so many ppl still queuing. Cut through the queue to moo(who queued for almost an hr) and saw one of the gatekeeper open up the queue pole on our left and said, "we are full". Man if i was queuing on the left side, petrol wasted!

According to lala's blog - The store carries sexy women clubbing attire. Here's the EYE CANDY for guys, "the walls are made of transparent glass..so they can see girls trying out clothes from outside (if they are lucky).

A thought from her, "On the contrary, if you tried to pick up a girl, you might end up having to buy her something from the store too. Wahaha..." well if you are going for attractive ladies, think deeper, they will have a hell long queue of wuss trying to please them with gift.

Another thought "Seriously, maybe they should consider selling men stuff too..or sex toys?? Ya'know..for the after party...oOOoo...." NOD nod how could they miss this ?

Hey what is the dollar deal about ? What's the lowest rates you have come across for a 10 frame bowling game ?

Thought Marina South was the lowest, having $1.5 on weekdays (if i remember correctly) BUT this offer gonna knock you down! Yeah A dollar a game, player play all the way. And it's on a Saturday.

Got to know about this place from a colleague, Plaza Star Bowl at Textile Center lvl 8.

Went there with Zk last week. Reached there around 10+ in the morning and play it to our hearts man!!

After first game (warm up), we decided to play punch - loser pays. Though I kept losing till ZK had to make an offer of giving 30 pts lead per game =\. Somehow I just can't get the momentum correct. I will do well for a few frames and something unusual will happen.

In the end, I paid for 15 games and he paid for only 3 games - each of us played 9 games. My master hand is worn out man with cuts and skin tear. If we gonna play it somewhere else, we gonna keep thinking about the money and I swear after 2 rounds of punch I will give up. Imagine paying 15 games somewhere else with a average rate of 3 bucks, it would be a whopping $45


PS: $1 per game from 10am - 2pm | 2pm -6 pm is $2 (well still Cheap la). The staff doesn't ask you for any IDs or cards for opening the lanes. They really trust those bowlers?

A day with Sis

There was this Hokkien food festival going on last weekend, How I got to know about it ? Met up with Sis on Sat and we were looking for place to makan. She got this cash tickets for the hokkien food festival happening at bas bazar. As we were heading there, I said, "the food better be nice!" Why? It was raining heavily and we had to walk from Bugis junction to bas bazar. Both our jeans got drench with the heavy downpour and strong wind even though it was a rather short distance.

I threw a question to her, "What are the list of hokkien food ?" As expected, "Hokkien mee". Well that what I thought so too as the name suggest =D.

When we arrived, there are about easily 20 stores selling various dialect group delicacy. BUT I cant find hokkien mee.

We had to move through the crowd and stepping into the flooded area due to the heavy downpour. Arghhh the feeling of wearing a WET sock!!!

She told me to look for seats while she ques =D wonderful to have a sis.

Got this minced pork "mian xian", pretty tasty, it would be better to have it in soup base.
After dishing out the first dish, her food hunting continues ......

There are a few more, some biscuits, "kong ba with kuey" ( there's this "kong ba bao" store but haiz.... we passed. Why ? The queue is AMAZING, we reached there around 1pm plus and till the time when we are about to go which was about 3pm, the length of the queue look similar to me! NO CHANGE!!)

Before we left the place, we went around the stores, there was this store selling tea leave. Promoting their house brand, "fuo shou shen", when he showed me the product and I saw the price tag!! guess how much it cost ? Well maybe I m not really into tea leaves, it cost $50 for a box (the size is slightly bigger than the Styrofoam cups)

Sis bought these for my family , one word "thoughtful"!
There were two store selling this, Sis bought it from the first store and we walked past the second store which have the sample in small chewing piece. I picked up one and tried, "hmm, it taste GOOD!" to the staff and follow with, "Great! I bought it" haha kinda bad ? =D
